Shinodayama Shinchi is a full-service Red-Light District, one of five such districts in Izumi City, Osaka. The area’s history as a pleasure district dates back to the Edo period when it was a popular stop for travelers heading toward the southern peninsula of Kumano.

In 1919, a military garrison was established in the area and the brothels of Shinodayama Shinchi served as the defacto pleasure quarters for the military during this time.

The Anti-Prostitution laws that were introduced in 1958 after the war resulted in the brothels of Shinodayama Shinchi converted into “inns” that still operate to this day as stand-alone brothels that offer full-service sex.

Enter the Inn

You will be escorted to a private room and served a beverage, typically tea, where you can discuss with a staff member the type of provider you wish to meet.
